11.
Do you know if there are UIUC license plates available in GA?  I see a lot of plates with logos from other schools like UF and Auburn on them.  I was hoping to get one for Illinois.
In order to get a Georgia tag for Illini, we would need a large percentage of the Illini who live in Georgia to agree to purchase the tag. If you or another Illini you know would like to pursue this task, we could use volunteers to help bring everyone together and get this done.

12.
Purpose for Atlanta Illini's wide network of social sites

Thanks for your feedback, ***.  That was an awesome question.

I do understand your concern, and haven't given you the myspace e-mail address to confuse you, but only to inform you that if you prefer MySpace as a way to stay in contact with us, then we are here, too.  But if that's not for you, please just ignore it, and stick with the main yahoo email, yahoo group, and website homepage.

In social media marketing, a network of social sites is one of the most common best practices that you'll see as a newer trend for the most prevalent corporations and non-profit organizations.  They maintain a presence on all of the major social sites.  This is because, similar to the ways of multi-media advertising, social media marketing is designed to bring the company/organization to their online audience in the places that their audience likes to hang out.

The purpose of creating a network of social profiles for the Atlanta Illini club is to help us find the other ~2500 Illini living in Georgia who have not yet plugged into our local chapter, with the least expensive and most readily available marketing possible.  And, right now, social media marketing has been serving us very well, in this arena.

In all of the communications that we provide on each social site, they always point everyone back to the yahoo group and the home website at (http://www.AtlantaIllini.info). (or at least they're supposed to, so remind us in the cases where that information hasn't been updated).  Also, we'll be sure to add this information as a disclaimer on any further communications that we send out, as well.

There will soon be an FAQ page on the website with yours as one of the first (anonymous) questions on the list.

If you have any further feedback for me or the club, in general, feel free to reply or leave a note/comment on any of the social sites.
